Bareiss HP Durometers measure hardness according to ASTM and ISO standards. Every HP is carefully assembled and calibrated by Bareiss technicians. To reduce friction, all Durometers include precision ball bearings to ensure smooth traveling of the indentor eliminating errors caused by friction. The Bareiss HP Series is available in different Shore and non-Shore scales.
They are fabricated using cast aluminum housings providing the durability required for use in tough production environments. Options include a Memory Pointer to retain the Peak Value during measurement. For measurement of round samples or on small parts or on a radius, it can be used with the BS61 Test Stand to increase repeatability and minimize operator variability.
Ideally suited for hardness measurement of all natural and synthetic rubber products, plastics, acrylic glass, acetates, thermoplastics, PVC, neoprenes, hardboards, wood, leather, and fruits utilizing Shore A, A0, B, 0, C, D, D0, 00, 000, 000S, E, and Asker C scales.
Please note that the number "0" is used in the part number instead of the letter "O", however, they are identical.
